This Good Design Award winner measures just under 3" long when closed and about 3.5" with the blade extended, making it easy to keep in a pencil case, pocket, or bag.

It has a clip for attaching it to a pocket or folder and can be set up for either right or left-handed use. When the blade gets dull, the handy blade-snapping tool built into the end of the cutter lets you quickly snap off the worn section and keep using it.
