About Furukawashiko
The origins of this paper company date back over 1,300 years to the historical craftsmanship of washi paper in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture. The inheritance of delicate, aesthetic sense and values from the Nara and Heian period has been preserved to the present days. Today, Furukawa Paper Mill wants to connect this precious history through paper and people. They believe a rich life that has been cultivated with respect for the blessings of nature is also found in paper, and is an aesthetic sense and value that has been handed down from many years ago.
