Create a pen that’s completely your own with the Karappo by Kuretake.
"Karappo" means "empty" in Japanese, and that’s exactly the idea. This pens comes unfilled so you can add fountain pen ink or customize with your own blended color. It includes two empty ink cartridges, an eyedropper for filling the cartridges, and two metal balls for sealing the cartridges after you fill them. The .4mm fiber tip makes it easy for beginners to create a fine liner pen in any color they can dream up!

The included cartridges only need to be sealed after filling if you are not going to install them immediately.
Once a sealed cartridge is installed in a Karappo pen, the metal ball will be pushed into the cartridge. The ball cannot be removed from the cartridge, and the cartridge cannot be resealed. However, the cartridge can be reused if you install it in a pen immediately after refilling.
