Japanese Brush Tip for Fountain Pens

Bringing the concept of a brush tip compatible with a fountain pen to life took considerable behind-the-scenes development, but the result is something truly special. This unique brush tip offers a dynamic range of line variation - measuring 4.5mm at its thickest and tapering to a delicate hairline - making it ideal for brush lettering, expressive illustrations, and inky experimentation.

Designed with a custom feed system, created using an ultra-precise SLS industrial 3D printer, the pen ensures smooth, generous ink flow through the robust tip. The effect on the page is satisfyingly juicy and full of character.

Durability was a top priority in the design process. After extensive testing, the final brush tip selected offers impressive longevity. And when one end begins to wear, the nib can be reversed for extended use - essentially offering two tips in one. It's a refillable, versatile tool built for creative expression, over and over again.

• Each nib will come in either transparent (pictured) or black housing.
• Each feed is manufactured on an SLS super accurate industrial 3D printer. The white 3D printed feed will change the color of the ink due to its porosity.
• When you’re ready to switch inks, you can simply wash the nib with cold water. Or, you can switch to using your new ink without cleaning in between, and enjoy the amazing new colors you create as the inks transition and blend together.
• Not compatible with shimmer ink but can be used with a broad range of other inks.
