KUM

Automatic AS2 Long Point Pencil Sharpener

Regular price $7.74
The KUM Automatic AS-2 is a precision sharpener designed for anyone who demands an exceptionally long, accurate pencil point. Favored by architects, engineers, artists, designers, and technical drafters, its unique two-step sharpening system creates a precise, elongated tip while minimizing waste.

Unlike traditional sharpeners that sharpen the wood and lead at the same time, the AS-2 works in two distinct phases. First, it sharpens only the wooden casing until an automatic stop mechanism is reached. Then, in the second stage, the exposed lead is carefully shaped to a fine, consistent point. Automatic stops in both phases prevent over-sharpening and help extend the life of your pencils.

The result is a beautifully formed long-point tip with an approximately 9-degree cone shape - ideal for detailed drawing, technical work, and precise writing.

The AS-2M version also includes built-in sharpeners for 2.0mm and 3.15mm leads, making it a versatile tool for drafting pencils and lead holders. Two replacement blades are conveniently stored inside the sharpener.
