Modest Riso House

Modest Riso House is a husband-and-wife design and print studio based in Holland, Michigan, run by Spenser and Zoé. The couple previously owned Washington Street Outfitters, a retail shop where greeting cards were always one of their favorite things to stock. After selling the store, they discovered risograph printing while living in Burlington, Vermont, and quickly fell in love with the unique color, texture, and feel of the medium. Today, they design and hand-print everything from their small home studio, creating cards inspired by thoughtful design, everyday moments, and a love of making things that feel personal and special.
