Kakimori

White Sakura Wood Nib Holder

Regular price $30.00
Crafted from beautiful Japanese cherry sapwood, this thoughtfully designed nib holder brings comfort, craftsmanship, and timeless style to your writing desk. At 7 inches long, it feels familiar in the hand - much like a standard pencil - making it comfortable for everything from everyday writing to creative illustration.

The smooth natural wood is finished with an ink-resistant coating while preserving its warm texture and character. Over time, the cherry wood develops a richer, deeper color, giving each pen holder a unique patina that reflects years of use. The paler sections of cherry wood are selected by hand according to color.

Compatible with most standard dip pen nibs, including Alloy nibs, you can easily swap nibs to suit your writing or drawing style.

  • To prevent distortion and discoloration, avoid soaking in water, sudden temperature changes or extreme heat, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Due to the nature of the material and treatment, grain and colour will vary between pieces.
  • If marked with ink, wipe clean with a soft cloth.
  • Insert into the nib holder with a gentle twist until fully seated. To remove, twist and pull slowly - forceful removal may dislodge the nib mount.
  • After rinsing, shake well in a downward motion to remove any water or ink from the nib mount before inserting a nib.
