Born and raised in Acadiana, Louisiana, Bernard draws inspiration from their Southern queer experience, internet aesthetics, saturated hues, and playful imagery like fruits and collage. With a BFA in Sculpture and Integrated Practices from Pratt Institute, they seamlessly merge traditional and digital techniques, bridging the virtual and physical worlds through their designs.
