The Susuwatari, also known as Soot Sprites, are the tiny, fuzzy, and mischievous creatures from Studio Ghibli’s beloved films, My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. These little black puffballs with big, round eyes love to scurry around dusty corners, leaving behind a trail of magic and mystery!

Though they start off as shy and a little timid, Susuwatari are playful and hardworking, often seen carrying tiny bits of soot or star-shaped candy when they’re feeling extra cheerful.
