Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Buyers are responsible for complying with their respective country's laws, regulations, taxes, and duties. We cannot be held accountable for any packages being detained or delayed in Customs and any additional fees incurred.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.
Shipping Methods
We use both UPS and USPS to ship packages. We are a small little shop with only a handful of people helping out. If we get very very busy, there may be a small delay in shipping! Generally orders will ship within two business days, depending on time the order was placed, and the UPS/USPS schedule. UPS does not count Saturday, Sunday, and US Federal holidays as business days, so please keep this in mind if you need your order by a particular date. Orders received on Fridays may sometimes ship on Monday due to limited UPS service over weekends.
If available, you will be issued a tracking number for your package when it is shipped. This should allow you to see exactly where your package is and when it should arrive. Unfortunately, UPS does not offer service to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses at this time. Of course, If you need to make special shipping arrangements (emergency birthday gifts), please enter a message in the comments box during checkout or contact us and we will be happy to help!
Shipping Costs
We charge actual shipping charges that will vary by package weight and destination. You can view shipping costs before finalizing your order.
On occasion, items from the same order may ship in separate packages, but you will never be charged extra for shipping. If you have placed multiple orders to the same address (and we notice), we may combine order items into one shipment and send you a refund of shipping cost savings, if there are any.
Fraud Review + Shipping Restrictions
Please understand that we try our best to validate legitimacy on all online sales. We check all orders to ensure they are not fraudulent.
Yes - people have scammed us before, and as a small independent business - this is mean, and really hurts us financially (and sometimes even emotionally). When an order is placed with stolen payment information, we lose. Credit card companies take the payment back from us after we have shipped the merchandise, and there is nothing we can do about it.
So...
We carefully evaluate orders based on many different factors: the order amount, items ordered, the country where the order was placed vs shipped to, email and billing information, etc etc. There is a chance your order may be canceled, refunded or even denied. You will receive an email if your order has failed our fraud review.
We DO NOT ship to re-shipment facilities.
We reserve the right to deny sales on a case by case basis. We appreciate your understanding, and obviously your legitimate orders ;-)
Our Packaging
In an effort to lower your shipping costs and our carbon footprint - we try to keep things running green by recycling boxes when possible. Rest assured that your items will still be lovingly protected and packaged, and that we do our very best to ensure they arrive to you safely.
Shipping SNAFUs
If your shipment is lost or was marked as delivered, please reach out to your local post office with questions. We cannot send replacement items or refunds for items marked as delivered. If an item is delivered and is stolen, it is not our responsibility to replace the item unless the order was insured. Please have your order shipped to a safe address. As much as we wish we could solve crime, we are just a cute store.
Sometimes our inventory can be off because something has mysteriously disappeared *eyeroll*. Because of this, we cannot guarantee our in-stock status of an item to be completely 100% accurate! If you happen to order an item that has gone out of stock, we will contact you to offer a replacement, or promptly refund your money.
Refunds and Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, item details are incorrect in the product listing, etc.). If the product you are returning is not defective, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
We only offer refunds for items that are described incorrectly, are returned to us, arrive damaged, or are never delivered. If the shipping service HAS delivered your package and it goes missing from there, we are not liable and cannot offer a refund. Also, if you have provided an incorrect address and your order has been delivered to that address, we cannot offer a refund.
